Millions exposed by Facebook data glitch
June 25 , 2013
Personal details of around six million people have been unintentionally uncovered by a bug in Facebook's data archive.
The bug accidentally shared email and telephone numbers with people who would otherwise not have any access to the information.
So far, there isn't any evidence that the data was exposed and exploited for malicious purposes, said Facebook. Facebook said they were upset and embarrassed by the bug, which was found out by an outside programmer.
