Microwave sales see a dip
March 24 , 2014
Microwave sales have either reduced or remained the same over the last one decade and America appears to have become tired of it.
The dip in sales could also be related to the fact that 90 percent of people in America already own microwaves but it's also possible that people's eating habits are changing.
"Microwaves have sort of had their day," an analyst said. "As people become more health conscious, and more interested in cooking 'fresh,' that's not helping microwaves." However, this doesn't mean that microwaves are dying completely since the built-in ones are doing well but this could certainly be the beginning of a slow decline.
