Microsoft's wearable fitness device unveiled

  • Software giant Microsoft has unveiled a wearable device, which can track the sleep and exercise patterns of a user and connect to a smartphone-based health service, according to media reports.

    The Microsoft Band would be available for $199 on the firm’s online store. It comes with 10 sensors to track parameters like calories, heart rate, and stress.

    The device works with all key mobile operating systems and connects to Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks.
