Mediterranean diet a key to staying young

The US researchers say that a Mediterranean diet could be a route to a long life as it appeared to help in keeping people genetically younger, according to media reports.
The typical mix of olive oil, fruits, fish, and vegetables may prevent the DNA code from scrambling with age, the research in the British Medical Journal says.
The study followed the health status of around 5,000 nurses on that diet for more than 10 years.
