Mandela, Walker top 2013 Google searches

  • Former South African leader Nelson Mandela, who died recently, was the top search on Google this year. 

    The company released this annual data on Tuesday and said these trending searches show topics that "had the highest amount of traffic over a sustained period in 2013 as compared to 2012."

    Paul Walker, who also died recently, is No. 2 on the list with the iPhone 5s on No. 3.
