LinkedIn users' passwords leaked by hackers
June 7 , 2012
Social networking site LinkedIn is looking into claims that some six million of its users' passwords have been leaked onto the Internet.
This comes after hackers posted a file containing encrypted passwords on a Russian web forum.
LinkedIn, which boasts over 150 million users, has not yet released a formal statement, but tweeted: "Our team continues to investigate, but at this time we are still unable to confirm that any security breach has taken place."
