LG launches G2 smartphone in India

The South Korean company LG has launched its new G2 smartphone in the south Asian country of India, in its first phase of a global launch. The device which had been unveiled globally last month will be priced at Rs 41,500. It will be featuring a slightly eccentric design and will come with a host of new software, along with a 13 Mega Pixel camera. LG G2 will compete with high end smartphones of top brands like Samsung, Apple, Sony, HTC and Nokia. The LG G2 will sport a 5.2 inch full HD screen and will run on Android 4.2 with a 2.2 GHz Quad core Snapdragon 800 chipset. It has a 3000 mAh battery with 2 GB RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and also infrared.
