Inactivity bigger killer than obesity, says study

Lack of exercise, or inactivity kills many more people than obesity in Europe, a comprehensive study has indicated.
According to the researchers of University of Cambridge, who carried out the study, said that some 676,000 deaths per year could be attributed to inactivity as opposed to 337,000 from obesity.
The study says that a minimum 20 minutes per day of brisk walking could prove quite beneficial. Exercise is beneficial irrespective of the person’s weight, it said.
