HIV evolving into less deadlier forms, says study

A new study has shown that HIV is evolving into milder forms that are less deadly, media reports say.
As the virus adapts to the human immune systems, it is getting “watered down,” researchers at University of Oxford reportedly say.
HIV infection was now taking longer to lead to Aids, and changes in the virus could help in the efforts to tackle the disease, the research indicates.
Some experts have suggested that over time the virus could become nearly harmless.
