Hacker clones German politician's thumbprint

A hacker network has cloned a thumbprint of the defence minister of Germany Ursula von der Leyen, according to media reports. The Chaos Computer Club has cloned the German politician’s thumbprint by using commercial software as well as images that were clicked at a press conference.

Jan Krissler said he cloned the minister’s thumbprint using pictures that were taken with a standard photo camera. Kissler was speaking at a convention for members of the Chaos Computer Club.
