Google tests secure email
June 5 , 2014
Google is working on an extraordinary privacy feature. Reports suggest that the giant is expected to soon use "End-to-End" encryption in order to keep hackers from looking into other people's emails.
"We recognize that this sort of encryption will probably only be used for very sensitive messages or by those who need added protection," Google project manager Stephan Somogyi said.
"But we hope that the End-to-End extension will make it quicker and easier for people to get that extra layer of security should they need it."
