Google rejected a request by the White House on Friday to remove a controversial YouTube movie clip that has triggered anti-American protests across the Middle East.
The Internet firm said it had censored the video in India and Indonesia and blocked it on Wednesday in Egypt and Libya, where U.S. embassies were stormed by protestors demonstrating against the film.
The film, titled Innocence of Muslims, depicts the Prophet Mohammad as a womanizer and leader of a bloodthirsty gang of men.
