Google Drive triples free storage to 15GB
May 14 , 2013
Google is set to increase its free storage capacity from 5GB to 15GB across Google+, Drive and Gmail.
The changes are expected to "roll out over the next couple of weeks," Google wrote in a blog post on Monday.
The increased amount of storage space gives Google customers the most generous capacity in comparison to other free online-storage services.
Dropbox currently gives free subscribers 2GB worth of space while Microsoft SkyDrive users get 7GB. Apple iCloud, Amazon Cloud Storage and SugarSync offer 5GB for free.
