Google definitely offers the best compensation and benefits, but fails when it comes to diversity. The company has finally owned up to this fact since 70 percent of its 46,170 employees are male and 61 percent of them are white. Moreover, just 30 percent of the company's base are women and men hold most of its technical jobs.
"Put simply, Google is not where we want to be when it comes to diversity," the senior VP of people operations said.
"Being totally clear about the extent of the problem is a really important part of the solution," the senior VP said.
