FCC asks for an explanation from AT&T over Internet expansion delay
November 15 , 2014
The Federal Communications Commission has directed AT&T to provide an explanation on its judgment to postpone its Internet expansion in 100 cities across the United States, media reports stated. The lingering issues over net neutrality had forced AT&T to postpone the plan. Randall Stephenson, CEO AT&T, had made an announcement this week concerning the same. He had stated that the firm has announced to hold up the installation process of high-speed fiber network in 100 cities. These include San Diego, Chicago, Miami, Cleveland, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
