Facebook users should get ready to see some bloodier photos and videos since the company has lifted a ban on them.
Although, gory videos were banned temporarily until recently, it has now changed. According to the company, users are permitted to post violent videos and photos but only if they intend to condemn the acts instead of celebrating them.
A spokesman called Facebook a place for people to share their experiences with controversial issues such as terrorism and human rights abuse. "People share videos of these events on Facebook to condemn them," the company said.
Facebook's ban on nudity, however, is still in place.
