Facebook launches fundraising campaign to fight Ebola
November 7 , 2014
Social networking giant Facebook has launched an Ebola fundraising campaign.
The firm's founder Mark Zuckerberg had earlier announced a personal donation of $25 million to combat the epidemic. The new initiative makes it easier for the general public to contribute as well.
Facebook seeks donations for groups such as the International Medical Corps and Save the Children, media reports say.
The 1.3 billion users of the site will now have an option to donate to such groups.
