May 28 , 2015
Internet giant Yahoo faces a class action lawsuit in the US over allegations of accessing email content sent to Yahoo Mail users from non-Yahoo accounts.
A judge in California has ruled that those who had received mails from, or sent mails to Yahoo Mail users from 2 October, 2011 can sue the firm as a group.
The privacy lawsuit has more than a million members, according to estimates.
The technology company used the data to boost its ad revenues, according to the claims.
