Electronic Arts (EA), the American video game publisher, has reported a 51% hike in profit for the April-June quarter, backed by good sales of titles such as ‘FIFA 2014’ and launch of gaming consoles.
The firm’s net profit jumped to $335m compared with $222m for the same period a year ago.
Its title ‘Battlefield Hardline’ will be launched early next year. Chief executive Andrew Wilson said EA was “testing and implementing” many new features to make 'Battlefield Hardline' a game that "players can enjoy for many years to come.”
