Dutch Sim card manufacturer: US, UK cyberspy agencies behind hack

  • Dutch Sim card firm Gemalto has said that it believes cyberspy agencies of the US and UK were behind hack attacks on its systems.

But the company, which operates in more than 80 countries, has denied claims that billions of encryption keys of mobile devices may have been stolen due to the alleged NSA and GCGQ hacking.

Gemalto’s clients include major players like Verizon, AT&T and Sprint among scores of wireless network providers around the world.
