Don't blame Google Glass for lack of privacy
May 20 , 2014
Google Glass is now available to anyone and the number of people using it on the streets will definitely increase. Many people will also look down upon the gadget, blaming it for eroding privacy. However, Whitney Erin Boesel of Time notes that the Glass only pin points the problem that has already been around from quite a while.
She mentioned that people usually use it to take creepy photos of women without their knowledge and such acts will remain problematic until the bigger picture is thought about.
Banning a device won't solve any issues if we don't ask questions about the kind of society we want to be a part of.
