Ditching ObamaCare could be a nightmare
January 21 , 2014
This Missouri resident had a hard time signing up for ObamaCare but an even harder time getting off of it.
She tried to unenroll after finding another insurance plan with better benefits but ended up spending six weeks speaking to operators and sending emails. Lesli Hill was charged $950 just when she thought she was unenrolled, after which she drove to her insurance company and received help.
"It's consumed my whole life," she said. "I felt like I'd slipped into a parallel universe ... It's just as hard to go off as it is to get on."
