Car infotainment systems can be targeted by hack attacks that could even put lives at risk, according to a security firm. NCC Group says hackers could potentially take control of a car’s brakes and other crucial systems.
The British firm has reportedly found a way to carry out such attacks by using data through DAB radio signals. Newer car models have tens of millions of codes running on their interconnected computers, experts say.
