China has reportedly banned members of its armed forces from wearing any wearable technology including smart watches with internet access.
According to an official military newspaper, security concerns were raised when a soldier apparently tried to take a picture of his comrades in Nanjing using a smart watch.
Later a decree was issued that the use of such wearable technology would be a “violation of confidential regulations when used by military personnel.”
