Child abuse images generate heavy traffic to hidden sites on Tor network, says study

  • A study has suggested that huge traffic to hidden sites on Tor network go to those, which provide images of child sexual abuse, as per media reports. The six-month long study tried to find out which were the most popular hidden services on the ‘dark net.’ The study found out that there were a lot of sites dedicated to illegal drugs; however, the most popular were the ones that dealt with abuse.

    The research has said that it is difficult to say that people were behind the visits to sites pertaining to child abuse.
