CEO claims to have never used email.

  • The Commissioner of Major League Basketball said that he has never made use of email and doesn’t intend on doing so in the future either. Bud Selig said that he shouldn’t have to be good at technology if he doesn’t want to be. He revealed his technophobia at a press conference and is said to have been one of the few powerful people who have acknowledged in public their refusal to use email.

“I’ve never sent an email, and I never will,” he said. Selig also told the Wall Street Journal that he prefers to be called or texted rather than emailed. Apart from Selig, Shayne Hughes, who is CEO of leadership consulting firm, banned email in his company for a week because he believed that it made workers inefficient and absorbed a lot of time.
