Apple's iconic iPhone series set for slowest ever sales growth

  • After posting successive terms of double digit growth, the iconic iPhone is speculated to post a meager 1% growth in the holiday quarter. The iPhone 6S & 6S Plus failed to capitalize on their initial sales due to lack of distinguishing features, with most buyers opting for cheaper older variants or waiting for the launch of iPhone 7. Apple shares have posted a 10% decline since October 2015 and were trading at $99.41 on Monday.
