'Apple malware mostly affecting Chinese users'

New malware that targets Apple products is affecting mostly Chinese users, according to an online security expert.
WireLurker, which has been infecting desktop and mobile operating systems of Apple, may have originated in China and largely targets devices there, according to Palo Alto Networks.
The malware which spreads through uploaded apps can steal data. Over 400 infected apps have been downloaded more than 350,000 times. The malware has the ability to steal “a variety of information”, the security firm said.
