Airbus crash in Spain: Reports hint at 'software problems' as major cause

  • Software glitches may have led to the May 9 military plane crash near Seville in Spain that killed four people, investigators have indicated, according to media reports.

    The Airbus A400M was on its first flight and crashed after an unsuccessful emergency landing.

    Reports said that anomalies in the plane’s data logs were discovered in the course of the investigation.

    Meanwhile, the UK’s Royal Air Force has paused flying its A400M planes till more details about the cause of the Spanish crash are known.
