A wig is Sony's new tech idea
December 2 , 2013
Sony is coming out with wearable technology, which will be able to check people's blood pressure, help visually impaired people with navigation and detect nearby objects. The company said SmartWig, worn on top of natural hair could become extremely popular since it would be more comfortable than other devices you can wear.
Reports suggest that the wig will use ultrasound waves and sensors in order to spot surroundings and find out the pulse, temperature and BP of the wearer. It's also fascinating to note that the wig can be made out of animal, human or even synthetic hair.
A fund manager said the idea is interesting but "would be very difficult for Sony to commercialize."
