2M Facebook, Yahoo, Google passwords posted on Russian website

About two million passwords for top services such as Facebook were posted on a Russian-language website.
Experts said its the work of a crime ring, which claimed to post more than 300,000 Facebook login details as well as details of several Russian sites and Google, Yahoo, LinkedIn and Twitter.
"Computers may have been attacked by hackers using malware to scrape information directly from their web browsers," a Facebook rep said. A security researcher mentioned that they are not sure as to how many of those details still function. "But we know that 30 percent to 40 percent of people use the same passwords on different websites," he said.
Number passwords such as "123456" appeared over 15,000 times and were the most common ones on the list.
