Zimbabwe beat New Zealand by seven wickets in Harare

  • Zimbabwe defeated New Zealand by seven wickets, winning their first ODI over a Test-playing nation in about a year.

Ross Taylor smashed an unbeaten 112 as New Zealand scored 303-4. But Craig Ervine’s swashbuckling 130 and Hamilton Masakadza’s handy 80 helped the hosts reach their target with six balls to spare in Harare.

This was their second ODI victory of the year, and it was the second time in Zimbabwe’s ODI history that they successfully chased a total of over 300.
