Unbeaten Partnership between Smith and Johnson Help Australia Reach 351/6

On day three of the second Test at Gabba, an unbeaten partnership of 104 runs between Steven Smith and Mitchell Johnson helped Australia score 351 for six, shortening India’s lead to 57. This was in response toIndia’s score of 408. At lunch, Smith was unbeaten at 110, while Johnson, who scored 10 boundaries and 1 six, was at 67.
Earlier, batsman Mitchell Marsh (11) and wicketkeeper Brad Haddin (6) were dismissed in quick succession, making it merrier for the Indians. But the momentum was soon broken by Smith and Johnson.
