U.S. businessman drops Rangers bid
May 9 , 2012
U.S. businessman Bill Miller has dropped his bid for Scottish soccer club Rangers.
The news comes just five days after he was chosen to rescue the stricken Glasgow team, which went into administration three months ago.
The plight of the 140-year-old club, Scottish champions a record 54 times, has raised alarm bells in Britain where a number of clubs are facing debt.
