Jennifer Cohen of Health.com offered tips to improve your workout while pointing at habits that should be avoided.
She mentioned that elliptical is not only boring but also ineffective since 20 minutes of cross-training does more good than spending 45 minutes on the elliptical.
Moreover, repeating your routines can never be good since all exercises eventually become easier for your body to handle. "Switch it up to "trick your body into working harder and burning more calories."
It's also essential to only stick to water instead of drinking Gatorade and scheduling water breaks in advance.
