Survivor said Hernandez shot his friends

  • There had already been suspicions regarding Aaron Hernandez being in a drive-by shooting in 2012; more fuel to the fire was added when a survivor said he believes Hernandez is the one who shot his two friends.

The witness mentioned that he didn't know who Hernandez was at the time for he's not a football fan but he later recognized the player's face in the news. "When I see his face, I just recognize his face," the witness said. "Compare his face that night to his face now. It's the face that I remember."

The man said he was driving home with his friends in from a bar in Boston when an SUV pulled up beside them. He heard one of them say, "What up, Negroes?" and started to shoot. He said things happened too fast and the men were only looking to kill. "They were shooting everywhere inside the car."

Hernandez is believed to have been at the same bar that particular night but the witness said he's still not sure of the cause of the shooting.

    "Why? What's the reason?"
