Rodman returns to N. Korea to hang with his friend
September 4 , 2013
Dennis Rodman has returned to Pyongyang but that might not mean any good news for the American prisoner Kenneth Bae. Rodman said his visit is regarding the basketball and spending time with his friend Kim Jong Un.
The former NBA star had said "I'm not going to North Korea to discuss freeing Kenneth Bae." Apart from meeting his buddy, Rodman also plans on trying to start a basketball league in the region.
Rodman said he is not a diplomat, even though he had asked Kim earlier this month to free Bae who had been moved to a hospital.
He mentioned that if he's able to get Bae loose, he'd be the "most powerful guy in the world."
Rodman's visit is being sponsored by Paddy Power, an Irish firm.
