Rodgers-Cromartie may retire if team wins Super Bowl

  • Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had decided to play five seasons when he joined in 2008. However, it's nearly the completion of his sixth year but he said it would be his last if Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl.

"They think I'm joking," he said.

Rodgers-Cromartie signed a deal worth $4M last March and retiring would mean that he won't be able to cash it. But he mentioned that money doesn't matter to him.

He plans on returning to his hometown near Tampa if he retires. "I'd just chill," he said.
