Reds' Bruce gets surgery

  • Reds right fielder Jay Bruce got a knee surgery done in order to repair torn cartilage. He will now be sidelined for nearly a month, according to media reports.

Several injuries have been reported since spring training and the Reds are currently missing a number of members including Tony Cingrani and Mat Latos.

Latos got torn cartilage repaired in February, but ended up developing a sore forearm afterwards. Moreover, Cingrani is on the disabled list due to an injured shoulder.
