Rangers soccer club administrator says takeover still on track
May 10 , 2012
The administrator for the Scottish Rangers soccer club believes it can still secure a bid by the end of the week, despite American businessman Bill Miller withdrawing his offer.
Two of the three bidders are new to the process and none are considering liquidation of the club, according to Duff and Phelps’ David Whitehouse.
The fresh bids are close to the proposed purchase price of $18 million offered by Miller.
An additional requirement $1.5 million to $6 million would be needed to run the club.
