Racing driver Enge fails another dope test
June 20 , 2012
Czech racing driver Tomas Enge has been suspended for failing a dope test, a decade after a similar result halted his hopes of competing in the Formula One.
The 35-year-old, who drives a Lamborghini, said on his Facebook page that he was "in shock" after the positive test following a race in Spain last month.
He went on to explain that he had long-term health problems and recently asked the governing International Automobile Federation to allow him to take certain medication.
The Paris-based federation confirmed he had been suspended but did not comment on details of the case.
Enge was stripped of the F3000 title in 2002 after testing positive for cannabis.
