QB Kitna to play for the Cowboys on Sunday
December 27 , 2013
A math teacher in Washington will be playing for the Cowboys this weekend and won't make any money off his services.
Reports suggest that Dallas is bringing back former quarterback Jon Kitna and that he plans on donating the $53,000 paycheck he makes off the experience to the high school where he coaches football and teaches math.
Kitna offered his services to the coach after he heard that the team's quarterback Tony Romo is suffering from a herniated disk, which he himself suffered from.
"He's a mentally tough guy," coach Jason Garrett said. "And he's certainly very young at heart."
