New Zealand cricketers extend help to Peshawar massacre survivors

  • In a humanitarian move that shows worldwide grief and sentiments towards the victims of Peshawar school attack, veteran Pakistani batsman Younis Khan visited the army school and delivered New Zealand cricket team players' kits and  financial donation. These contributions were handed over to Younis by New Zealand captain Kane Williamson after the fourth one-day international between Pakistan and New Zealand recently in Abu Dhabi. Williamson was accompanied by team manager Mike Sandle.(New Zealand Map)

    Younis visited children injured in the shootout and comforted them. The Taliban gunmen had slaughtered 150 people, mostly children, at the army school on December 16.
