Mystery of Usain Bolt's speed unraveled

  • Usain Bolt's time of 9.58 seconds in a 100-meter race in 2009 proved that he's the fasted human in the world. Physicists translated Bolt the runner into Bolt the mathematical model for a study in the European Journal of Physics. Bolt is said to be able to use an inhuman amount of energy to overcome air resistance.

Robert Johnson, at Let'sRun.com said Bolt's could simply be better than other people because of his rare physical attributes. He used Lebron James as an example and called Bolt "a tall freak".

A professor in Cambridge said he believes Bolt hasn't achieved his full potential.
