Murray beats Ferrer 5-7 6-2 7-5 to win Vienna Open

  • Coming back from a set down, Britain’s Andy Murray defeated David Ferrer 5-7 6-2 7-5 to win the Vienna Open, according to media reports.

    The 27-year-old Scot broke the Spaniard thrice in the third set and then served to win the match and his second title of 2014.

    After this victory, Murray is well ahead of the 32-year-old Ferrer in the race to the World Tour Finals qualifications. The Briton described the final of the Vienna Open as a “very, very tough match.”
