Messi, Suarez score two each as Barcelona crush Roma 6-1

  • Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez scored two goals each as Barcelona overwhelmed Roma 6-1 in a Champions League game. 

    Suarez opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 15th minute and Messi added another one three minutes later. Suarez then took the lead to 3-0 in the first half. Gerard Pique extended the lead in the second half before Messi scored his second in the 59th minute.

    Barcelona, fresh from a 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the La Liga, were not done yet, with Adriano scoring the sixth goal. Edin Dzeko headed home a consolation in the dying minutes.
