Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers under pressure after club's poor run
May 25 , 2015
Accepting that he was under pressure after the club's poor run, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers said he would leave the club if the “owners want me to go.”
The Reds’ final game, which was also Steven Gerrard’s last match, was a shocker as they crashed to a 6-1 defeat against Stoke City, finishing sixth in the Premier League.
Rodgers said “everybody connected” with the club was “embarrassed by that result.”
The Liverpool manager, who has won only two of the last nine games, however, added that he still had a “lot to offer” the club.
