Little League player won't apologize to his coach

  • A California Little League coach said he would drop the lawsuit against his 14-year-old player if the boy apologized for tearing his Achilles tendon.

However, the player's family told their lawyer that they "don't believe their child did anything wrong."

The lawsuit filed by Alan Beck went viral but he offered to let it go in exchange for a heartfelt apology but it doesn't look like the teenager's parents approve of the deal. Beck mentioned that he has no idea how the lawsuit caught so much attention by the media. "It went international," he said.

The player's family has already spent $4k in legal fees.
