Jay Z selling half his shares to J Kidd
September 5 , 2013
Jay Z has found a buyer for his Brooklyn Nets shares that he needs to get rid of. The buyer is head coach Jason Kidd who had first suggested that Jay Z bought shares in the team a decade ago.
Reportedly, Jay Z is selling half of his stake to the head coach for about $500,000.
A source said some owners wish to give Jason a part ownership of the team so they urged the rapper to sell his shares to the head coach.
The other half of the stake that Jay Z owned has already been purchased by some other minority owner in the team.
