Indian Wells: Djokovic beats Federer to clinch title

  • Novak Djokovic defeated Roger Federer 6-3 6-7 (5-7) 6-2 to win his fourth Indian Wells title.

After dominating the first set, the World number one faced a tough second set, which he lost to the Swiss in a tie-break. But the Serb recovered to clinch the decider of the  BNP Paribas Open final.

This was the 27-year-old's 50th career crown. Djokovic, who has won eight grand slams, had defeated Britain’s Andy Murray in the semi-final.
